About you: As a Lead Software Engineer at TRG, you will take a leadership role in shaping the technology stack of our microservice-backend products. These products play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, fusing, and presenting high-volume, heterogeneous, and distributed intelligence information. Responsibilities: Lead the development of new microservices and features within the technology stack. Decompose complex problems and architect simple, functional software components to address them. Optimize the existing codebase for enhanced performance, reliability, and scalability. Uphold and enhance code quality and overall system performance. Employ modern practices, including Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration, to deliver frequent and iterative updates. Conduct code reviews and engage in pair-programming sessions. Actively participate in knowledge transfer sessions and mentor other team members on technology and best practices. Requirements: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, with Python (Fastapi, Flask, Django) as a primary language. Team leading experience is mandatory, people and project management. Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with Selenium and/or Puppeteer. Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices. Hands-on experience in developing RESTful API Services and event-driven microservices. Experience using Docker and Docker Compose in a development environment. Familiarity with Apache Kafka or other messaging technologies. Proficiency in working with database systems (SQL or NoSQL, e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). Experience with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial. Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using CLI tools. Fluent in the English language. Nice to Have: Experience in android application and web api reverse engineering. Experience in android emulation and automation. Experience working with WebSockets. Experience in Java. Proven ability and inclination for continuous learning and knowledge expansion.
